May 12th and 13th 2008 - Institute of Money Laundering Prevention Officers Conference, Manchester, UK
David Toddington will be speaking on the use of the Internet as an Investigative Research Tool in Anti-Money Laundering Operations at the fifth annual Institute of Money Laundering Prevention Officers (IMLPO) conference in Manchester, UK on May 13, 2008.
This two day conference, chaired by BBC Television's Nik Wood and KMPG Forensic's Barry Diller features a broad range of speakers of interest to AML personnel including Dr Jackie Harvey of the Newcastle Business School, David Thomas, Head of the UK Serious Organised Crime Agency's Financial Investigations Unit and a representative of the UK's National Terrorist FIU. Breakout sessions include case studies by the Northumbria, Bedfordshire, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire Police.

Toddington International Inc. welcomes new associates Dr. Margaret O'Rourke and Dr. Sean Hammond
As the importance of Behavioral Sciences continues to figure increasingly in the assessment of Internet based Open Source Intelligence, we are pleased to welcome Dr Margaret O'Rourke and Dr Sean Hammond to the Toddington International team.
Margaret O’Rourke, B.A., M.A., M.App.Sci., Psych.D., A.F.B.Ps.S., C.Psychol., is a Consultant Forensic Clinical Psychologist and Director of Behavioural Science at the School of Medicine, University College Cork. Dr. O'Rourke is a founder and Director of the RAMAS (Risk Assessment, Management and Audit Systems) Foundation based in the UK, Ireland and Canada. Margaret has published and presented on a wide range of topics and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and the American Psychological Association.
Dr Sean Hammond maintains a staff position in the Department of Applied Psychology at the University College of Cork and holds expertise in Psychometrics and Forensic Psychology with particular interests in Psychometric Modelling particularly in relation to risk assessment, personality disorders and sexual offending and the application of multivariate statistics and scaling methods idiographic and structured qualitative methodology. Dr. Hammond has been deeply involved in the development of assessment processes for Internet sex offenders and the organization COPINE (Combating Paedophile Information Networks in Europe).

Training Dates Finalized at Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pacific Region Training Centre and Canadian Police College for 2008 Fiscal Year
Dates for training delivered by Toddington International Inc. through the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pacific Region Training Centre (PRTC) and the Canadian Police College for the the 2008 Fiscal Year have now been finalized.
A total of 15 weeks of specialized training will be delivered through RCMP PRTC and 5 weeks of training will be delivered through the CPC.

October 30, 2007 - DM Toddington & Company Ltd welcomes associate Arni Stinnissen
After a 29 year career with the Ontario Provincial Police, Arni Stinnissen is joining the DM Toddington & Company team as an associate.
Retiring as the Manager of the OPP's Electronic Crime Section and holding the rank of Detective Staff Sergeant, Arni's distinguished career includes the co-founding the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Electronic Crime Committee, membership on the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Working Group on Cybercrime and the Ontario Attorney-General’s task force on Child Exploitation.
A regular speaker and media commentator within the police community on information age crime, Arni is a leading voice in the call for the education of all users at all levels to become more aware of security and safety issues in the online world.

April 11, 2007 - Secure, Dedicated, Purpose-Built Computer Classroom Now Open
We are pleased to announce the opening of our dedicated, purpose-built computer classroom at our new office facilities on the scenic shores of the Fraser River in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
Able to host up to 18 students, we can now provide customized training to our clients either our own secure facilities or at the customer’s site using our portable 20 person computer lab.
DM Toddington & Company Ltd’s new classroom will soon be used to train various Canadian Federal Government enforcement personnel at a specialized 3-day training seminar being organized by the Health Canada Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety (HECS) department, British Columbia Region.

Julie Clegg will be speaking at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia's Fraud Prevention and Investigations Division Annual General Meeting on December 7th, 2006.
Having trained a significant number of Special Investigations Unit personnel over the past decade, an ICBC SIU attendee at a recent course presented by DM Toddington and Company wrote: "The training on blog sites and how to search them was the catalyst for the start up of a system to proactively identify Blogs that relate to ICBC and related claims. The results include significant financial savings to ICBC and another tool to identify related vulnerabilities."

David Toddington will be presenting two workshops on November 28th, 2006 at the annual Assets Recovery Agency Payback Conference in London, UK. In addition to senior members of the Home Office will be some 500 financial investigators from across the United Kingdom representing a number of Police and Enforcement Agencies.

Hosted by the National Judicial Institute, David Toddington and Julie Clegg will be speaking at the Supreme Court of British Columbia Education Seminar in Vancouver, BC on November 17, 2006. Addressing some 85 members of the BC Supreme Court Judiciary, David and Julie will present an overview of Internet sourced Intelligence and its importance in the Threat Assessment process.
