Online (Distance Learning) Training
Initially launched in 1998, the "Internet Searching Techniques for Investigators" Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels are available solely through the Canadian Police College. A refocused United Kingdom specific version of this training program is available through the West Yorkshire Police Training and Development Centre, United Kingdom.
Based on the successful Distance Learning Programs offered through the Canadian Police College and the West Yorkshire Police, "Using the Internet as an Investigative Research Tool" (North American and United Kingdom versions) is now available to qualified students via our training site (hyperlinked).
Since its launch in April 2006, this course has hosted students from a variety of government and police departments in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States with hundreds of new students expected to enroll within the next few months.
These individuals will join over 1200 previous students who have benefited from our online training programs, making this course a "must" for any professional involved in any aspect of Online Research and Intelligence gathering.
