Summary

Bringing with him substantial experience in open-source intelligence investigations, corporate intelligence, risk assessment and strategic planning, Yaniv Pereyaslavsky specializes in issues of economic security and sensitive technology in the public sector.

Prior to joining Toddington International, Yaniv gained extensive experience in Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) roles while serving in the Canadian Forces; during his subsequent time in the private sector, Yaniv worked in both corporate intelligence and strategic planning roles in advanced technology industries.  With a strong background in machine learning, and cybersecurity, he was responsible for intelligence reporting on multi-million-dollar investment and research projects for key stakeholders.  Yaniv’s work in the high technology sector has included complex open-source investigations, information-operations, government relations, and the overseeing of comprehensive competitive intelligence products.

He continues his work on in interface between technology and national security for the Government of Canada.

Yaniv studied Security and Strategy at the University of British Columbia and the University of Copenhagen and is a certified Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professional (SCIP).
