Welcome to the November 2017 edition of TII’s Online Intelligence Newsletter and thank you for taking the time to read.

In this edition, TII Senior Associate Dr. Cynthia Baxter writes on some of the key psychological elements every investigator and intelligence professional needs to know in her article, “Expert Investigators Understand the People Behind the Crimes”. A highly experienced Forensic Psychiatrist, Dr. Baxter is available to TII clients through both our investigative and training divisions. Dr. Baxter has recently developed and is co-presenting our new 2-day course, “Cyberpsychology and Threat Intelligence: Assessing Risk Online”, which will launch in January 2018 in Vancouver, BC (see below for details).

It’s been a busy few months as we continue to expand both our offerings and instructor base. Over the last 6 weeks, TII team members have delivered specialized training on four continents, to some 175 attendees from 18 countries. Over the next four weeks, we’re pleased to be delivering both open and in-house training sessions in North America, Europe, and Africa. Stay tuned over the next month as we announce two exciting new training partnerships for the Middle East and Oceania regions.

Welcome to the October 2017 edition of TII’s Online Intelligence Newsletter. August and September were incredibly busy months for us, with our team delivering a host of fresh, new, and updated training programs throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and of course, North America. Earlier in September, we formally launched our much-anticipated, brand new online course, “Open Source Intelligence for Financial Investigators“, in partnership with finINTEL’s Robert Maxwell.

To start off this month, we want to take the opportunity to formally welcome our newest team members, Kathy Macdonald, Dr. Cynthia Baxter, and Colin Crowden. We are also proud to announce our newly appointed Vice President, Jasmeen Sandhar-Gill, who has served as TII’s International Training Manager and GM for 5 years.

To keep things exciting, soon we are rolling out a completely overhauled version of our online course, “Using the Internet as an Investigative Research Tool“, and will be announcing the launch date in our upcoming newsletter.

Welcome to the July edition of TII’s Online Intelligence Newsletter. It’s been an exciting few months as TII personnel have been involved in the filming of two new seasons of the hit UK television series, Hunted, in addition to taking on new staff members and developing a host of fresh, new, and updated training programs.

This past six weeks has seen members of the TII team delivering instructor-led training programs in Europe, Asia, and Central America. In this edition of the newsletter, TII associate and former Calgary City police officer Kathy Macdonald recounts her time in El Salvador, along with TII’s Norm Whilhelm, delivering training in partnership with the non-profit Justice Education Society, who has been working closely with law enforcement in the region since 2001 to increase the country’s justice system capacity.
